Welcome to Grandma Judy's Masks

Many people have been affected by the economic downturn caused by the Covid-19 Epidemic. Wearing a mask is something that everyone can do to stop the spread and harm caused by Covid-19. In an effort to help those in need and to make mask wearing an act of kindness, Grandma Judy has transferred her quilt making skills into mask making. All donations received will be given to the Greater Chicago Food Depository.

Grandma Judy's Masks are completely hand-made. From cutting the materials to stitching the fabrics, each mask is made with love. Together with Grandma Judy's mask-making efforts, your donation will help many deal with the effects of the Covid-19 epidemic.

Pop Pop

Just as each mask is made with love and compassion in mind so is the mask's design inspiration.

As a result the first mask to be released in this campaign was created in the loving memory of Grandma Judy's husband Byron.

Byron left us in 2015, but he left Judy with many wonderful memories of 58 years of marriage. Grandma Judy who affectionately referred to her husband as "my boyfriend" created a mask that honor's Byron's memory.

Byron was referred to as Pop Pop by his grandchildren and he loved to wear blue shirts. And so its only appropriate that Grandma Judy's creation honoring him resemble a comfortable blue shirt and be called the "Pop Pop".
